Montgomery came to VINS in 2014 after being rescued in the northernmost part of Vermont. He was most likely hit by a car several days earlier and had multiple injuries: a fractured humerus bone in his left wing and damage to his left eye, and was undernourished. VINS rehabbers treated his condition, but his injuries left lasting damage. He transitioned to life as an education ambassador and shares an enclosure with his female counterpart in ambassadorship: Bridgewater.
