Woodstock arrived at VINS in 2018 by our friends at New England Falconry in Woodstock, Vermont. She was found unable to fly away and exams and x-rays showed that she suffered a fracture to her left wing. The x-rays also indicated she had been shot as there were still small fragments of the shot in her wing. The fracture had almost completely healed crooked and severely affected her ability to hunt and fly resulting in her being emaciated upon arrival.
