As her name suggests, Los Angeles, the Black Vulture, came to VINS by way of California. She was transferred from a rehabilitation center where she was treated for an unknown trauma that resulted in severe glaucoma and affected vision and ability to survive in the wild. The rehabilitator reached out to VINS to place her in a permanent home. Now, as an education ambassador, she educates the public about the important role vultures play in our ecosystems.
