Stockbridge, the Common Raven, arrived at VINS in 2021 as a fledgling after falling from his nest in Stockbridge, VT. While being cared for by our exhibit raven, Woodstock, rehabilitators discovered that Stockbridge had sustained head trauma, resulting in vision loss.
Despite his challenges, Stockbridge is a quirky and charismatic bird with a love for all things musical. He has developed an impressive repertoire of playful sounds, which he eagerly performs. Through his lively personality, Stockbridge helps transform the often-misunderstood image of ravens, showcasing their intelligence, charm, and playful nature.
